Wow! I'd like to thank those of you that donated to the Send Swade to Sweden fund after the initial posting last night. New 9-3 Convertible Spypics

Sweden's Auto Motor and Sport are the latest to publish some spypics of the MY2008 9-3 Convertible. This one's in black and dare I say it looks a bit more cohesive than the one in the last MY08 convertible pictures we saw. Maybe it's just because it's got a full set of wheels this time. These are small images I'm posting in order to appease the powers that be, but huge versions are available at AM&S at the link above....

All four manufacturers have something very special to show visitors to Race Retro, the International Historic Motorsport Show, at Stoneleigh Park from 23-25 March 2007.

What's more, all four are offering test drives at the Show. . .

Westfield Sportscars will be assembling the first of the 25th Anniversary XIs, live on Stand B12 in Hall 2, during all three days of Race Retro. "During the build, there will be question and answer sessions," says Managing Director of Westfield Sportscars, Julian Turner; "and after the Show, the completed car will be auctioned for charity."

Cafe racers galore

If you're into cafe racers at all, this is a great time to be alive.

I particularly like the Triumph Thruxton. It has a 900cc parallel twin engine and sells for about $8000. Not bad for a modern take on a classic.

For a bit more, you could step up to Ducati's SportClassic series, the nicest of which is the Sport 1000 S. It has a 1000cc V-twin and costs $12,500.
