37 classic sport cars at the Monza Classic Endurance
Racing

Classic Endurance Racing has started its fourth vintage racing season in a stylish way. No less than 37 cars were on the starting grid of this fast circuit, under a bright sun. An absolute record for the C.E.R. which collects in these first spring days the results of the work achieved during winter time. Indeed, with stretching its eligibility period until 1979 and becoming a qualifying step for the Le Mans Classic C.E.R. has reached the level granted by the quality of its grid since now three years.

37 classic sport cars for a grid very well balanced between GT car and protos. But look, in spite of the friendly atmosphere in the paddock, the battle is harsh on the track. All competitors, happy to meet again pushed the cars to their own limits but Classic Endurance Racing obliges, without touching the others. At the end of the qualifications, we could even find ten cars within the same second!

Girls like to have fun! Brand new for this 2007 season, amongst the gentlemen drivers, a lady has imposed her style. Nevertheless, 24 year-old Corentine Quiniou is not a novice: first lady and youngest crew prizes at the Dakar last year, she has started on karting, Formule France, Formule Renault Elf Campus racetracks, among others? Along this weekend on the Milanese circuit, Corentine was twice happy sharing her father's Chevron B16 1970's wheel. She finished 11th, very honourable for a first C.E.R experience.
