Hot on the heels of yesterday's announcement that the new Mercedes E-Class will be unveiled at the New York International Auto Show, DaimlerChrysler has published the first official photos and details of what we can expect from their newest luxury sedan. On the outside, the new E-Class remains largely similar to the previous model. A slightly re-worked front bumper and grille, transparent louvres on the top of the headlights, and white LED parking lamps are a few of the differences you'll find in the latest E. Inside, prospective customers will benefit from a number of new color choices, including cognac brown and sahara beige for the AVANTGARDE line. Other changes include a new four spoke steering wheel with elliptical thumb-operated buttons and a new control unit for the standard-fit THERMATIC automatic climate control.
